- Plans and permits handled for you, with updates at every milestone
- A defined scope, budget, and schedule before crews start

Why Choose Us
Discover Why 70%+ of Our Work Comes from Word of Mouth
Permits, Plans, and City Coordination
Los Angeles remodeling often means permits, plan check, inspections, and coordination with city requirements. We keep those steps connected to the design and construction plan so they do not become a separate burden for you.
- We review permit needs early.
- We coordinate plans and documentation with the remodel scope.
- We treat inspections as part of the process, not an afterthought.
- We connect design decisions to build requirements through one accountable team.
Scope Clarity Before Construction
Budget surprises usually begin with unclear scope. We help define the work, identify construction realities, and connect finish choices to the plan before the job is underway.
- We discuss the scope before work begins.
- We clarify material priorities early.
- We surface potential cost drivers during planning.
- We explain changes before moving forward.
A Schedule Based On Real Work
We organize the schedule around the real construction sequence: planning, ordering, permits, demolition, trades, inspections, finishes, and final details.
- We connect milestones to actual work phases.
- We coordinate trades through one accountable team.
- We communicate delays and decisions clearly.
- We include the final walkthrough in the schedule.
Communication Without Chasing
You should not have to chase a contractor to understand your own remodel. We keep decisions, milestones, and construction updates visible.
- We provide regular updates during active work.
- We clarify the decisions you need to make next.
- We keep design and construction connected through one team.
- Our owners stay involved through key project moments.

Our Process
A Clear Path From First Idea to Finished ADU
One process connects fit, design, approvals, selections, construction, and final care.
Learn moreLearn moreScope Review and Consultation
We start with your lot and your goal: rental, family, or flexibility. A feasibility review shows what the property allows before anyone draws.
Design, Scope, and Budget Planning
The design squeezes real living from compact square footage: storage, light, privacy. Every choice gets priced against utilities and structure as it is made.
Plans, Permits, and Schedule
Plans, zoning review, and permits with the City of Los Angeles move as one file. We handle review comments and revisions; you decide only the real decisions.
Construction and Updates
Construction runs on our own crews with daily updates. Each inspection lands on schedule because the sequence plans for it.
Final Walkthrough and Completion
The final walkthrough covers kitchen, bath, systems, and finishes. Qualifying projects close with a 3-year warranty in writing.

Our Erwin Street ADU is right here in Tarzana. You can see the city, scope, and finished result for each one, on this page and in our gallery.
What do the 90-day offer and warranty cover?
The 90 days covers qualifying ADU construction after permits or approvals and site readiness. It excludes the design and approval period. Qualifying projects include a 3-year warranty, and we explain the written coverage before work begins.
Do I need finished plans before I call?
No. The property and your goals are enough to start. Owners often call us before any designer or drawings; the first conversation sets the next step.
Who builds the ADU?
Our own crews, under our California contractor license. We are a licensed general contractor and ADU builder in one company, so plans, permitting, inspections, and construction stay connected. No handoffs between separate contractors or a chain of subcontractors.
Can an ADU support rental use or family housing?
When the property and project qualify, rental use may be possible; we promise no income or returns. Just as often the unit houses parents, adult children, or a caregiver. Flexible housing is the constant either way.
What changes the cost?
Size, layout, utilities, access, site needs, materials, cabinetry, and approval requirements can affect cost. We give a written estimate once the scope is defined, and we explain what drives it.
What changes the schedule?
Approvals, site readiness, utilities, scope, materials, each inspection, and outside agencies can affect timing. Permitting with the City of Los Angeles moves at the city's pace. Compliance issues found late slow things most, so we surface them early.
Do you convert garages too?
Yes. A garage conversion is often the fastest ADU path, and some properties support an above-garage unit instead. The right route depends on the structure, site, and approvals.
Do you only work in Tarzana?
No. We build ADUs across the area, including Encino and Woodland Hills and the wider Los Angeles residential market. More than a decade of ADU and remodeling experience travels with the same crews.
What happens after construction?
We complete a final walkthrough, review the finished space, and explain warranty care.
