Home Remodels and Renovations

After many years in your home, it is almost certain that some components are broken and in need of renovation. Perhaps the roof is infested with termites, the walls have cracks from extreme weather, and the furniture requires refurbishment.
It is usual for people to modify their homes as a method of expressing their love and appreciation for their surroundings. The term renovation refers to the process of enhancing, redecorating, extending, or remodeling a residence.

One of the best aspects of property ownership is the flexibility and independence to renovate in whatever way you like. House remodeling can benefit you as a property owner in increasing the value of your property, enhancing its appeal and look, enhancing your feeling of achievement, and even improving your lifestyle.

Home Additions

Room expansions can be adapted for almost any function and are an excellent way to declutter your home.

Custom Homes & New Construction

As the client, you have complete control over personalizing the entire house to your specifications—down to the color of the cabinet knobs. In fact, the chances of buying a home fully built with everything you like are extremely limited.

Even if you discover something similar, you will almost certainly end up upgrading the room to make it more personalized to your needs, which may be rather complex and costly. Having complete control over what goes into your home and where it goes results in a home that is 100 percent personalized to your preferences and contains no surprises.

ADU Building Contractor

While ADUs require a substantial investment, they do add value to your home. Your ADU will be viewed as an advantage by prospective buyers; they may wish to utilize it as a supplementary housing unit, a small office, or a guest room for guests and family.

By adding an ADU to an existing home, you are effectively adding another housing unit to the market — without the need for extra land. Additionally, for some people, the smaller proportions of ADUs make them a more sustainable housing option than bigger single-family houses.

Bel Air, LA

Bel Air is a residential area in Los Angeles, California It was founded in 1923 and it is the home of the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden and the American Jewish University.

Alphonzo Bell developed the village in 1923. Bell had farmland in Santa Fe Springs, California, near the site of the oil discovery. On what is now Bel Air Road, he purchased a huge ranch with a home. He partitioned and developed the property into huge residential lots, with landscape architect Mark Daniels leading the master plan. He also established the Bel-Air Bay Club and the Bel-Air Country Club in Pacific Palisades. His wife preferred Italian street names. In 1931, she also started the Bel-Air Garden Club.

Bel Air, along with Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills, constitutes Los Angeles’ Platinum Triangle.

Things To Do In Bel Air, LA

Ma and Pa Trail

This heritage trail, which follows the route of the old Ma and Pa Railroad across Harford County, is supported by over a hundred establishments. The 2.5-mile Bel Air segment connects to the longer route. It begins on Williams Street and concludes with a view of the Equestrian Center.

The trail is moderately sloping and winds through trees, beneath the highway and bypass, and numerous times crosses the creek. It is a convenient way to get around town, including branches to Harford Mall and Liriodendron Mansion. At one end, there is a dog park where pets can run.

Liriodendron Mansion

Dr Howard Kelly and his wife Laetitia lived in the mansion on Bel Air’s western side. Dr Kelly was one of the four founders of Baltimore’s John Hopkins Medical College. The estate was originally 196 acres in size, but pieces of land, including what is now Howard Park, have been sold off since the 1940s.

The architect responsible for the Baltimore City Court Residence designed the Palladium-style house. It is a brick mansion with two and a half stories. The old home still survives on the property, as do various outbuildings. Liriodendron is the botanical name for the estate’s tulip poplar.

Harford Mall

The mall is located on the site of the former Bel Air Racetrack, near the intersection of Maryland Route 24 and US Route 1. It was built in 1973 and completely restored in 2006. The center court and interior have been remodeled, the outside has been refreshed, and the food court has been relocated to the outside.

Nearly 80 stores, including ten cafes, are located in the main structure and the nearby Harford Mall extension. Sears and Macy’s are anchor tenants, whereas Woolworths was an anchor tenant until the chain discontinued operations. The center is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
