I’ve never done anything on this scale before. To have that kind of direction and have them work with us as we figured things out really helped us shape the design of the entire ADU.

Immediately when I talked to Eli, he knew exactly what he was talking about. Very honest, straightforward assessment of what we needed and how much it was going to cost. I wanted it to feel like a Starbucks because I really like that kind of feeling you get when you go in there, and those kind of colors. Fortunately, a friend of mine had worked with Eli and Quality First and was really happy with them and referred us to them. I talked to Donna, the designer, and she came up with some really great ideas as far as cabinetry and colors and things like that to give us direction. Again, I've never done anything on this scale before. So to have that kind of direction and have them work with us as far as trying to figure things out really helped us in shaping how we're going to make things and make our decisions on design and the actual design of the entire ADU.
