We did a full renovation of our home in Culver City, almost a complete demolition. This is the house I grew up in, and over time we realized we needed something more. We also wanted to build something in the back for my parents to live in someday. Previously, a tenant had caused a fire that damaged the back of the house. So we decided to rebuild that space with the future in mind. I wanted someone who would treat this project with the same care and emotion that I felt. This wasn’t just construction. It was about building a life here, raising a family, and creating space for multiple generations to stay connected. After a lot of research, we found Eli and Donna. Right away, it felt like they truly cared. Hiring them felt more like forming a friendship. That’s probably the best way I can describe Eli and Donna. When someone becomes your friend during a renovation, it’s because they show up, every time. And they always did. This was a long, complex project. Permitting in Culver City is not easy. There were delays and hurdles. But Eli pushed through all of it. He kept the process moving, stayed committed to the timeline, and took care of every detail. The crew they brought in was also fantastic. Even now that we’ve moved in, neighbors tell us how respectful the crew was. They always cleaned up, kept the site safe, and even looked out for kids in the area. That level of respect meant a lot to us. What stands out most for me is working with Donna. She has such a great eye for design, but even more than that, she has real compassion. Donna helped us make smart decisions. She would say, “This is worth investing in,” or “You don’t need to spend money on that.” She created beautiful vision boards for us that made everything easier. We truly could not have completed this project without her. Donna brought the design to life, and Eli made sure it all happened. We’re so grateful for both of them. If we had to do this project all over again, we would absolutely hire them again without hesitation.
