    We have a really interesting story. We moved to Los Angeles from Chicago and were in a hurry to find, buy, renovate, and move into a house, all within a couple of months. We had done this before. This was actually the seventh house we’ve renovated, so we were familiar with the process. I started researching contractors and found Eli through a Google search. My husband, Brian, said, "What are you doing? That’s the worst way to find a contractor." But Eli had great reviews, so I said, "Let’s just meet him." What won us over was our first meeting with Eli and Donna. We visited Eli at his office, and he was incredibly detail-oriented. He had a full proposal ready and followed up right away. Nobody else even called us back. That alone was so refreshing. Donna helped us pick out all the fixtures, materials, countertops, and cabinets. She was amazing. We even bumped into her at a tile store. She’s a designer, and when we said, "We kind of like this tile," she smiled and said, "I love that one." That gave us so much confidence in our choices. Brian likes clean and simple lines, and Donna was great at balancing that with creative input. She helped us make design decisions without pressure and always knew when to step in with helpful suggestions. We’re so thankful we found Quality First Builders. No renovation project is ever perfect, and there are always surprises, but Eli and Donna made it feel manageable. They were kind, responsive, and truly great to work with.
