Hi, I’m Paula Keener, and this is my wife, Linda. We live in Northridge. We bought this house in 2001. It’s a 1955 home with a great backyard and a wonderful location. Over the years, we’ve done a lot of improvements, but the kitchen was still untouched. The roof was 15 years old, and the floors were worn out. It was time for a major update. Linda researched contractors online and narrowed it down to six candidates. We interviewed them all, and in the end, it came down to Eli and one other. After a second meeting, Linda felt very comfortable with Eli, and we moved forward with him. We signed the contract around mid-June. Eli told us the project would be done by August, and he delivered right on time. Throughout the process, Eli and his crew were very respectful of our home and our pets. We have four dogs and two cats, so that mattered a lot. As with any renovation, unexpected things came up. But every time they did, Eli was quick to respond and offered clear solutions. He stayed in close contact, always replying to texts and keeping us updated. I initially had some hesitation because Eli had so many glowing reviews online. I wondered if he might be too busy to give our project the attention it needed. But that was never an issue. He was fully present and committed from start to finish. Originally, we were just planning to remodel the kitchen and update the flooring. But as things evolved, the project expanded. That was stressful for us, but Eli helped ease the pressure. Within a couple of hours, he came back with a revised plan and made it all feel manageable. Donna was also amazing. She helped us choose tile, paint, and fixtures, and always made sure the design reflected our style. She kept things consistent and beautiful. Her eye for detail brought everything together. What stood out most was how comfortable we felt throughout the entire project. The crew was knowledgeable, respectful, and hardworking. The contract and payment schedule were clear, and communication was constant. We highly recommend Eli and everyone at Quality First Builders. Give them a call, ask your questions, and see for yourself. They are transparent, experienced, and truly go the extra mile. We’re very happy with the results and confident you will be too.
