Everything had become so difficult that we almost gave up on the idea of renovating our home. We first started thinking about renovating back in 2018. We hired an architect, interviewed three contractors, and went through the early planning stages. Then the pandemic hit, and everything fell apart. At that point, we lost hope that we would ever get the house renovated. But then something happened that changed everything. Quality First Builders was working on a home just down the street from us. We saw their sign and made a phone call. That same day, my husband walked into the home they were renovating and met Donna in person. She introduced herself as part of the team, they exchanged numbers, and the very next day, Eli called us. When we met with Eli and Donna, we immediately got such a good feeling that we didn’t even consider looking anywhere else. We signed the contract right away. That was in April 2021. Within six months, Eli had secured the permits from the city. We moved out, and less than six months later, the entire project was done. It was a very positive experience from beginning to end. By the way, I’m Kusum and this is Bharat, in case you’d like to include our names. What stood out to us was the timeliness, the professionalism, the excellent communication, and their incredible teamwork. They work so well together and truly made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. Their entire team is professional and caring. I often felt like someone was holding my hand throughout the entire process. There were moments when I walked into the house mid-demolition and felt overwhelmed, but Eli and Donna always made me feel comfortable. I had no idea how to choose finishes or materials, but Donna came with us to the stores, helped us make decisions, and guided us every step of the way. I felt truly supported. They were also incredibly responsive. Any time we sent a text or email, we received a reply almost immediately. That kind of accessibility made a big difference. Another thing we appreciated was their transparency. They were honest and open throughout the process, which built a real sense of trust. Even when we didn’t agree on everything, we always knew they were being upfront. That made us feel confident in the decisions we were making. If we could give them 10 stars, we would. But since it only goes up to five, we’ll gladly give them five stars and if we ever have another project in the future, we would hire them again without hesitation. When the finished home finally came to life, it was a really beautiful and emotional moment. It turned out even better than we imagined.
