"Before working with us, what were your biggest challenges or pain points with this project? I mean, I would say that one of our biggest challenges was just not really knowing exactly what we wanted to do. We had a very basic idea that we wanted a bigger kitchen, and we knew we had limitations with structural limitations and walls and whatnot. That was kind of one of our biggest challenges, and just not really knowing what we needed or how we could improve our space. Exactly. When we decided to start on this project, the only thing that came to our head was how can we improve the kitchen. We had no other ideas of what we can do to improve our bottom floor. So that was kind of where we were stuck, like what can we do down here? Well, we were hoping to achieve a better layout. I really wanted the idea, I love the idea of an open concept floor. I wanted a bigger kitchen. I wanted a place where I could entertain my family and friends. And that's just something that I was just really hoping, I needed ideas on how I can accomplish that. And I think for me it was just generally more space. So we added some more square footage to the house, and just seeing, figuring out a good layout where we could try and maximize the space that we had so that we could be more comfortable in our home. What was your favorite part about working with the team? Having amazing communication with both Eli and Donna was a positive, positive, positive aspect of this whole project. Talking to us, wanting to know what our vision was, especially for my kitchen. Donna was amazing, asking me for visual boards, and them just pretty much being with us through every step and every phase of this project was literally just the best part of working with them. Yeah, I would agree. I liked having both of them, almost not opposite, but just different sounding boards for different parts of the project. One kind of more construction-based, one kind of more design-based. So it was good being able to communicate specific things with either one of them, or sometimes both of them. How did our work help you overcome your initial challenges and achieve your goals? I mean, it definitely achieved our goals because, like as we mentioned earlier, we were hoping to have a bigger space to entertain people. And even though we haven't done that yet, we can already see, just with the finished product, that we do have a lot more room. We do have a beautiful kitchen now, which was at least one of my biggest things, having the small kitchen. We do have the open floor plan. So yeah, pretty much everything that we were trying to achieve, we've been able to get that done. True. So, how was the team's timing with everything on the construction projects? Amazing. Ever since day one, they again communicated very well with us. They scheduled meetings where we would meet at the tile store, at the wood store. With this big project, we were quoted from other companies six months, eight months, ten months. But Eli promised us, he gave me a date, and it was a date that I was like, hmm, let's see if he can make it. And it was fast. It was very well planned out, and it was delivered amazingly. The quality is just, everything just came out great. I've mentioned to several family members, just in the beginning, particularly during demo, but there was like 15 people here working at the same time. And speaking with other friends and family that have done similar projects, even their reactions are like, wow, we had whatever, three guys or four guys. So we definitely saw a lot of quick movement at the beginning, and yeah, they definitely delivered. Actually, they exceeded expectations from what they initially told us for timing. Correct. Very well dedicated. They had a team here Monday through Saturday. They were here from 8 in the morning till late in the evening working, and yeah, it was just great to see all that. I would say one of the big differentiators that we saw from the beginning was the ideas and the creativity. As we mentioned, there were a few hurdles that we weren't really sure how to solve, and they had a solution for almost every single thing, better than when talking with other people. So I think for projects that need creativity, or really just any project, we would recommend them because, again, as I kind of saw throughout the construction project, there were issues that came up, there were surprises, there were change orders, but they were all handled. Eli was here a lot, a lot, a lot to really kind of manage everything and all the little issues that came up day to day. So I think that was really a big key differentiator, where I would recommend them to our family. Correct. I agree, especially on my part of this whole construction, which is the design and what kind of fixtures and everything that I need. Donna was amazing. She pretty much helped create my vision. She guided me through how to match tiles, how to match the tiles with the cabinets. She was just always there when I had questions or needed extra guidance. And I know from the design part, I really needed that extra help, and she was there. I mean, I would say a fun part was having both Eli and Donna, and sometimes, not putting them against each other, but because they're kind of on different sides, it was funny to see them kind of argue with each other, so to speak, where he says one thing, she's like, ""No, it should be this."" And I think it helps the project overall because we're kind of getting both perspectives. And I like that they are somewhat challenging each other on what should be done or how it should be approached, just to make sure that we get the best end results. That was always, I mean, even today, just kind of doing the final walk, kind of getting both their perspectives on all the final details. Correct. I think every time we met with them, it was always a positive, it was always a positive meeting. They had so many good ideas. They guided us through every obstacle, every little challenge that we came across. They were just great with communication, and yeah. Yeah. Happy. We're very happy. Very, very happy. Definitely will recommend them to all of our family and friends. We would love to have them back here for any other new remodeling that we might have in the future. They honestly feel like family, and we're just very happy that we found them and they created this beautiful bottom floor for us, first floor for us."
