We started this project as a pretty big endeavor. We bought a 1927 Spanish Colonial home here in Silver Lake that needed a lot of work, and we approached the renovation in multiple phases. The first phase went fine. It was satisfying and smooth. But when it came time to renovate the upstairs, we wanted something more inclusive of our vision. We were fortunate to find Eli and Donna, and they made everything work seamlessly. Originally, the house had two bedrooms and one bathroom. We wanted to add a second bathroom to better suit our family’s needs and increase the value of the home. That meant breaking down walls, reconfiguring space, and converting an old office into a new bathroom. It was a complex design challenge, but Eli really came through and made sure everything worked perfectly. One of the most rewarding aspects of the project was the focus on quality. Donna helped us select beautiful materials and brought everything together with a cohesive design. There was no stress. I remember sending her ten pages of emails and dozens of texts in a single afternoon. She never hesitated, answered every question, and made me feel completely supported throughout the process. That attention to detail carried through from the materials to the workmanship. The tile installers were outstanding. Every cut, every angle, and every line turned out perfectly. The finished result looks like a million dollars. At first, I thought the name "Quality First" was just a clever branding choice. But after working with them, I genuinely believe they put quality first in everything they do. When you pair great materials with expert craftsmanship, the results speak for themselves. Thank you, Eli. Everything turned out beautifully. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience.
