When I walk into this space now, it feels like I’m stepping into a brand new home. This started as a kitchen remodel. Our house was built in 1961, and the drawers were literally falling apart from the inside out. It was time for an upgrade. My husband wanted to turn it into a full renovation. We decided to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining room to create a more open layout. While the work was underway, we had a termite inspection. We found out the shower pan in our original bathroom had failed. Since we were already comfortable working with Eli and Donna, we added a change order to remodel the master bathroom too. They stayed close to the schedule. In a house this old, you expect to find unexpected issues. Eli always knew how to handle them. He explained what needed to be done and gave us clear information about any additional costs, such as bringing electrical work up to current code. Overall, the project went very smoothly. The team arrived when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, and did excellent work. Donna was especially helpful with the design. I believe she has a degree from UCLA, and her skill really showed. What impressed me even more was the feedback from two of my friends who work in the visual arts. One teaches at a college, and the other at a high school. Both had very strong praise for the kitchen design. We would absolutely recommend Quality First Builders. In any major renovation, issues will come up. But I never felt like Eli or Donna was unresponsive. They always stayed on top of things. I work in finance and tend to be very detail-oriented. Compared to a remodel we did about twelve years ago, this project involved far more decisions. Between the kitchen and bathroom, there were so many moving parts. Eli and Donna kept us on track the entire time. We started on December third and finished right around Valentine’s Day. The timing was very close to the original schedule, and we’re extremely happy with how everything turned out.
